Getting ready for my new Last Sunday Lipedema-Friendly outfits series is turning out to be a lot more fun than I’d thought. First of all, I’m going to go broke if I’m not careful, and second, I’m going to need to clean out my closet soon. I’ve needed to get rid of tight trousers for a long time, so this will help.
It takes a bit of work, you have to figure out the outfit that you want by searching Pinterest, Amazon, Instagram, and for me, looking at outfits of plus sized celebrities who pay for a stylist, and then trying to copy them from Amazon. Then you have to order them, make sure the pieces are all in and fit, and then figure out the photography. The last step is to make the post with links and put it all together for our lipedema community to take a look at.
So I’ve already ordered a few months’ worth of outfits because next Sunday is the big day and I’m behind on photography – but I’ll get it figured out.
Anyway…I’m having trouble keeping secrets with this. Look what I found today. I didn’t know this existed and I ordered it in navy blue to wear with black bioflects. I can’t wait to get it in.
It’s called a cowl-neck hoodie tunic (that’s a mouthful!). I have it in my head that with some jewelry, this could be dressed up for work. If not, it’ll make an amazing Saturday morning out outfit.
Even though I blew the secret, I’m still doing the photography and hair part when it comes in. I hope it looks as good as I wanted it to.
