Hi friends!
I’ve had a fun little surprise today. I was making a YouTube video of my putting on the updated Beltwell Compression CalfWrap brace and doing the work it takes to upload the video, etc., when I made a fun discovery. I’m on the Beltwell company’s webpage! How fun is that!
So – disclosure here – Beltwell mailed me a free set of braces to try out. (I’m not an affilate marketer for them though). Here’s a video of how I put it on, literally right after pulling it from the package. It was easy!
(Forgive me for being sideways in the last five seconds. Just laugh with the crazy lady who is not a digital native.)
My review – easy to put on, it didn’t slip during the hours I had it on, and it gave good brace support. I didn’t hurt or pinch either which is nice. My thoughts are that it’s good for not adding to your existing swelling but light enough support to not be a replacement for professional bandaging or high compression wraps. So, it’s a great fit for support, but other choices should be used for trying to decongest as a part of a program for reduction. I’d definitely talk with your doctor or therapist if you need complete decongestive therapy (which consists of several things including manual drainage, compression, bandaging, etc.)
I love the price on this too for daily support over compression. So, I think this item has a place in the world for lipedema and lymphedema patients who need a light bit of bracing and support for long walks, etc. Thanks for updating and sharing your new product with us, Beltwell!
I hope this review is helpful to you friends!
