What’s your story for 2023? I haven’t written mine yet, but I’ll share as I think through my review.
t’s the time of year when I’m officially Christmased out, and I shift my focus towards setting intentions for the new year. The air is filled with the promise of fresh beginnings. We are ready jump in and to set resolutions, but I want to set realistic intentions for myself. So today I want to talk about the art of setting intentions that are not only achievable but also contribute to a more meaningful and fulfilling journey throughout the coming year by going through some steps.
It’s a process that I take pretty seriously, and it involves five steps, and one pre step. The pre step is to be in a clean, decluttered space so you can focus. This takes a minute for me and may be one to skip for you…
Next is to review where you are and, “Reflect on the Past Year”:
- MAJOR LIFE LESSONS
- EXPERIENCES
- GRATITUDES
- CHALLENGES
- ACCOMPLISHMENTS
If you feel comfortable, write this down. This is the step I’ll be working on for the next few days (actually cleaning spaces and thinking), resisting the temptation to jump into goals until I’ve had time to reflect. I’m sharing this with you in case you want to do the same!
I’ll follow up soon with the next step!
