You can tell when a woman has accepted the hand she’s been dealt and is ready to live her best life.\u00a0 It dawned on me on New Year’s Eve, as we welcomed 2022 in, that this has happened to me.\u00a0 I’m now invoking Schmezolutions instead of resolutions for this year.\u00a0 These are things I was already doing and already thinking about.\u00a0 Here are a few:<\/p>\n

• Travel someplace I’ve never been<\/li>\n
• Buy better quality makeup because there is more pigment in the eye shadow and it’s more brilliant<\/li>\n
• Buy one amazing outfit a month – the kind that people stop you and give complements on<\/li>\n
• Eat what I like and what makes me feel good<\/li>\n
• Keep swimming and doing yoga, because I like it and I like how I feel when I do it<\/li>\n
• Do more fun things<\/li>\n
• Have more coffee with friends<\/li>\n
• Support more people when they’re doing good things and moving forward<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  My last bullet brings up a point.\u00a0 My friend from the Lipedema Community, April Sluder, leads a group online, and has made an amazing journal.\u00a0 I’m going to grab a copy of that today and dig through it with all my heart this year, because I think it will be a good and healthy exercise.\u00a0 I hope you do too!<\/p>\n
