Sharing with You! My Pool Side Cheat Sheet for Easy Lipedema Friendly Water Workouts

As I head over to Atlanta this weekend for the Lighthouse Lymphedema Network 25th annual meeting, I’m doing a little prep work.

The day before I get there, the therapists will be doing an all-day pool session workshop with none other than the famed therapist Dorit Tidhar, who runs Aqua Lymphatic Therapy and wrote five papers (among many others) that influenced me to do very extensive research and ultimately write Aqua Therapy for Lipedema and Lymphedema.  You can say I’m a fan. I hear there will be copies of my book passed out during the session, in fact.

I was asked to put together and bring a poolside cheat sheet with some sample workouts that folks can laminate.  So I did that.  And I’m sharing the files with you.  I may or may not figure out a way to offer them laminated through my Zazzle store (doesn’t everyone have a Zazzle store?  LOL!), but for now, if you’d like a copy of the poolside cheat sheet, here you go!  My goal is to help one more person figure out ways to feel good, keep moving, and manage their lipedema. Hydrostatic Pressure in five feet of water. My feet would be getting 111 mmHg of pressure when I stand in 5 feet of water, which is neck deep for me. This is stronger than even custom-made medical compression!
